Not
bad for a fella that didn’t even like Country music at first.
Oklahoma
born, Southern California raised, Randy has many motion picture credits,
including “The Rose” with Bette Midler. He was a regular performer on
American Bandstand and has several local and cable appearances
to his credit. In 1993, Randy received the San Diego Entertainer of the
Year Award. His first CD was
released in 1994 on Pride Records.
Randy’s
music and live performance is featured in motion picture, “The Making of
an American Cowboy released in 1998. Randy is also featured in the film
“Unsung Cowboy.”
Singing
since the age of 10, Randy started with musical comedy in the regional and
dinner theaters. He spent several years touring the Southwest singing
gospel music with the group “Brothers”.

Jack DiMaggio’s Racquet Club
If
you’ve ever been anywhere around the Country Western clubs in
California, Arizona or Nevada, you’ve probably heard Randy Riggs. You
might have heard and seen him at the rodeo, a musical festival. Pride
event, or any of a dozen concerts throughout the Southwest.
Randy
has completed his first major tour of Alaska, and from the response and
welcome he received, the “frozen North” will be a regular stop on
Randy’s upcoming tours. |
