 Randy Riggs

Not bad for a fella that didn’t even like Country music at first.

He was a regular performer on American Bandstand and has several local and cable appearances to his credit. In 1993, Randy received the San Diego Entertainer of the Year Award. His first CD was released in 1994 on Pride Records.

Randy’s music and live performance is featured in motion picture, “The Making of an American Cowboy released in 1998. Randy is also featured in the film “Unsung Cowboy.”

Singing since the age of 10, Randy started with musical comedy in the regional and dinner theaters. He spent several years touring the Southwest singing gospel music with the group “Brothers”.

In recent years, Randy has headlined in clubs such as:

  • Perris - Cat Ballou’s
  • Santa Ana – Crazy Horse Saloon
  • Las Vegas - Sunset Park and Backstreet
  • Phoenix — Charlie’s and The Country Club
  • Los Angeles - Oil Can Harry’s and Rawhide

  • San Diego - Bee Jay’s, WD’s on Fifth, Club Bombay, The Brass Rail, and Kickers
  • Palm Springs - Spurs, The Villa, Sweetwater Saloon, The Desert Palms, and Jack DiMaggio’s Racquet Club

If you’ve ever been anywhere around the Country Western clubs in California, Arizona or Nevada, you’ve probably heard Randy Riggs. You might have heard and seen him at the rodeo, a musical festival. Pride event, or any of a dozen concerts throughout the Southwest.

Randy has completed his first major tour of Alaska, and from the response and welcome he received, the “frozen North” will be a regular stop on Randy’s upcoming tours.
