Abigail
has been described as "a devastating diva with a difference" since she released
"I Feel You" on All Around The World Records in 1992. "Could It Be Magic" on
Klone Records, shortly followed and debuted at ..1 on the U.K. NRG chart. After
a taste of success, Abigail released a cover of K.D. Lang's "Constant Craving".
This was her foray into the American dance scene. The single was so big that the
import was ..1 on Dance Music Authority's 'Hi-NRG' International Chart for 19
WEEKS! Her next release, a cover of REM's "Losing My Religion" brought Abigail
additional critical acclaim in ten countries and firmly established her as a Hi-NRG
dance artist in America. Following the cover song route, she then released the
dance version of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit". The single reached ..29 on
the UK. national charts and peaked at number 2 on D.M.A.'s 'Hi-NRG' Chart.
Abigail released her debut album "Feel Good" on Klone records and soon earned
awards for Best New Artist, Best Newcomer and Best Female Vocalist. In 1998
Abigail signed to Interhit Records in Los Angeles and began working with
producers Chris Cox and Barry Harris who had just formed the legendary remix
team, Thunderpuss. Their first collaboration, "Let The Joy Rise", co-written by
Janice Robinson (Livin' Joy) is still a huge circuit anthem.
Abigail moved to Strictly Rhythm Records and followed up with a second
Thunderpuss production - "If It Don't Fit" which reached number 1 on the
Billboard Club Play Chart. Abigail's next Billboard number 1 came shortly after
when "You Set Me Free" soared to the top spot.
Abigail's latest release is a featured vocal performance on "Lay Down" with
production team '10 Monkeys'. Remixers featured are Hex Hector, DJ Tracy Young
and Josh Harris.
