We all remember Angie Gold from
her successful self-composed hit "Eat You Up" which reached number 16 in the
Billboard Hot 100 chart and number 1 in the Billboard U.S. Dance Chart. This record sold
over 1.5 million copies over the Far East and Japan also. It stayed at number 1 for 8
weeks and was voted second biggest selling song over the last 3 years, to Madonna and
Whitney Houston. Since 1988 Angie Gold has toured all over the United States, but not for
a while. This is about to change.
Angie Gold’s new single is released on July 23rd
in the U.K. It was produced by Ray Hedges (Take That) and is a remake of "Armed And
Extremely Dangerous"
Angie Gold is also releasing an album entitled "The Best Of
Angie Gold" featuring 11 songs including a remix of her hit "Eat You Up"
and is released by HOT Records in Miami shortly.
This album was produced by the legendary Ian Levine who has produces
hits for Paul Young, Take That, Sonia and Bad Boys Inc. to name but a few.
