Enduring dance
music chanteuse, Linda Imperial, launched her recording career at the dawn of
the San Francisco dance music era. After co-founding the group Loverde, Linda
toured the US, Europe and Mexico with their top Billboard hit “Die Hard Lover.”
As a solo
artist on various dance labels, Linda has scored several dance chart hits
including “Stranger,” “Fire” (#5 on Billboard), and Gavin pick hit “Extra
Credit” on Columbia Records.
Her
co-productions include “Killing Me Softly,” which was nominated HI-NRG Dance
Record of the Year in 1992 and “Get Here” (co-produced by Ernest Kohl) which
went to #2 on the DMA International HI-NRG charts. Her release of “All By
Myself” / “Two Out Of Three Ain’t Bad” produced by Interhit’s Chris Cox of
Cox/Reeves/Anderson was a Billboard #4 in breakout sales.
Her last
release, “Where the Boys Are,” produced by Thunderpuss is becoming a dance club
anthem, still generating fierce enthusiasm wherever it’s played.
With her
2003 release of the self-penned “Destination You” Linda
uses all her skill and experience as a singer and producer to create a powerful
and emotional co-production package (with Steven Marc Trier) of pure danceable
joy. Featuring an awesome club dub dance re-mix by DJ extraordinaire Ralphi
Rosario, along with Troy Sands and Steven Marc Trier, “Destination You” has
excited strong response among test audiences and seems destined to find a place
in the hearts of dance music aficionados everywhere. |
